well i think so, my sister saw it too so im not crazy. this lil guy basically a circle and line clinging below the sponge filter!!! it was less than 2mm!! I'm so dam excited! :19:

Wooohooo thumbs2: Congratulations - fry are sooo cute especially around the 3-4 week mark when they start to take shape of the adult fish

hehe yeah, my first fry from egglayers!
Could be a wait for pics seeing that i cant take pictures of platy fry! But i'll try my best, the challenge for now is seeing them!!

Dave told me they will all have hatched by 3 days so 1 on the first day isnt bad!! lol thumbs2:

when they become free swimming, out of the sticky head phase and you should keep their belly full, so feed like 4 times a day..

start feeding them infusoria when they are free swimming and have consumed all of their egg sac.

thanks everyone though i haven't seen any since yesterday morning, i hope i still have some.

does anyone know if i should have seen them by now? If not any idea when i should start seeing them? 1 third of the tank if java moss so they could be in that.

Thanks all, but its been 3 days since i thought they spawned.. surely i should have seen something else by now? Im gonna give it a couple more days if not i suppose i'll be trying again. :(

ok i found couple of these floating on the top of my tank i think they could be dead fry, also i might have seen one swimming by the sponge fiter. Is this the fry?

Hard to tell from the picture but if you saw them swimming then they're fry.

That's a fry, Tolley. It probably starved by the look of it. It has a bit of color, so it appears perhaps two days old.
