Is there a fish or snail I can use to help with this problem? My tank gets cloudy very quickly :(

3 guppies, one snail and one chinese algae eater fish.
No Plants
6 gallon tank ~ link ([Only Registered Users Can See Links.])
Never cycled, tank is 3 days old, I did wait 24 hours before adding fish.

since the tank is not cycled you are having a bacteria bloom. also your fish will probably all die. you have to cycle the tank before you add fish. waiting 24 hrs to add fish after setting it up does absolutely nothing. you need to get a test kit so you can monitor the ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels as it goes through the cycle process. when the ammonia goes up some you will need to do partial water changes to keep it down so the fish don't die. also make sure to use a water conditioner everytime you add water to the tank. never take everything out and clean it, this will get rid of the good bacteria you need to have in the tank.

Really? I've done this a bunch of times and never had a problem. I just don't like the cloudy water....

So there is no fish or anything that controls the algae bloom?

the algae bloom is from the tank not being cycled. make sure to not overfeed the fish and to do regular water changes.

Do you have another tank to put your fish?
They likely will not survive this.

If you don't, pick up some bio-spira and add it to the tank, as well as daily water changes. But no gravel vacing, leave the gravel and decor alone, it needs to be untouched to cycle.

Regular water changes would be at least 40% weekly. But do daily until it is cycled.
