Just a few pics of my Apisto Peixoto. Great fish that has turned out easy to breed. Hope you enjoy.

A A39!! A Apisto Peixoto !!! I have only ever seen them once in real life...

Thank you, I don't have any pics of the female because she is gaurding fry. This is the dominant male and he is mean, helps gaurd the fry and is unbelievably active. The female looks like any other Apisto female, bright yellow with black markings. I will try to get a nice pic. She looks alot like a Borelli female.

Are those the ones from Apistodave you got a few months back or new ones? This ones a new breed on me. Hadn't heard of this one.

I did get them from ApistoDave a few months back. They were supposed to be Bitaeniatas. One pair was Bitaeniatas and two pairs were Peixoto.

He never sends what he is supposed to, but sometimes it turns out to be okay.

I think they were around $16.00 - $18.00 a pair.

Frozen BBS, frozen Daphnia, Frozen Cyclop-ezz, frozen mysis shrimp and Ken's Fish high protein flake and small fish pellets plus dry decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs.
