I wish to buy one of these but the price is $150 and ive been told they grow to roughly 3 feet or less in an aquarium i was thinking to keep my oscars with it in 180 gal is that suitable?

The three of them would be fine in a 180gal. Depends how aggresive your clown knife is too... I believe they are actually capable of reaching 40"

yes 100 cm, 40" its roughly 3 feet all up, just such a nice fish and ive always wanted one and ive finally found one

i recently bought a clown knife only 12.99 at local pet shop i have a 100 gal tank with a few pictus and other medium size cats will they need a larger tank when they grow, clown knife is currently 5 inches long, cats all around 3in w/2 peacock eels getting a larger tank will be no problem if needed.

I almost got thrown out of my house putting a 75 gal tank in, I'd have to park the car outside and heat the garage to get that size tank....I think I'll have to avoid that fish.

How many inches was this clown that you had to pay $150 for it?

They usually go for $6 or $8 for a 5'' specimen around here.

same. I am always told, no more tanks in that room, so I spread all my tanks alover, until I run outta rooms.

I think it was roughly 7 inches but im in Australia so certain fish arent so easy to obtain

It amazes me what they charge for fish there!
