Barbs and Gouramis?

I have 3 dwarf gouramis and I was wondering would it be possible to keep a school of about 8 tiger barbs with them? Would it stress the gouramis to death because they seem to be rapid swimmers?

They would stress the gourami too death because they probably nip all their fins.... Barbs are best kept with barbs... especially tiger barbs....
