So I ot the approval from the wife... For the birthday in April I am getting a 30 gallon long and a 100 gallon. My question is 30 gallon long and breed two red jewel cichlid and make money.....or suck up to thewife and start a 30 gallon reef with live rock coral crabs and various fishies.......... I know the salt is alot more... I have never done salt past fowlr but I did have a fowlr with some crabs and a clown in there.... (The wife's decision...)

anemones really are for tanks 55g+.
also, a 33g is borderline for a skimmer, its not the end of the world if you dont use one

I'd just use it for hiding for a perc clown.......

if you really wanted a anemone you could get a green bubble tip anemone, however you should get good lighting. i recommend these on a 33g

most anemones need 10wpg. however, some clownfish ignore anemones. its not a must. also, anemones need a tank at least 6 months old

yup I know about the waiting period..... I'd let it sit probably 6-8 weeks before I even popped any shrimp in... another 4 weeks for fish then let it run while and build live corals little by little......
