As of yesterday one of my female kiku's was still holding from their spawning activity on Sunday. But this morning she is not, so sometime last night she either spit or swallowed the eggs(easy now get your minds out of the gutter)
I don't know if its because the eggs were infertile or if it was because it was here first time. First time mouthbrooders don't have a good track record for holding to term. But I am excited just the same as this is a young colony and it's encouraging to see activity of this sort. It means I am on the right track with them and they are a happy bunch.
