AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
i relised the other day that there was a small patch of algea growing and thought the bristlenose would clean it up until..... IT HAS OVERTAKEN MY TANK!!!! i thought it was simply green algea but it is not!!! Its green hair algea and i can't find a solution anywhere. the LFS said siamese flying fox but..... What do u suggest??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get rid of it yes, but then we need to find out why it appeared in the first place lest it simply return in time.

I would suggest you scrub it off and after that do a water change of about 40%. This way you will have it off the walls or almost all of and some of it will be siphoned out when doing the water change.
