Funny you mention it but we are having really nice spring like weather at the moment and its just right for spending a day in the shed getting the bikes ready for the summer.
Honda CB400/4 F2 1978, owned for 20years and innitially bought for £45 as a front end right off. I know they were hated in the states and never cought on over there but loved by many in the UK, especially me.
Honda CBR1100xx Superblackbird 1998. Fast just isnt the word 90mph in second and then it just gets silly. Love it.
To be honest the 400/4 turns heads in the crowd but the blackbird just scared the sh*t outa me, its great!`

I hate motorcycles!!! I know too many people that have gotten into horrible accidents, burns, brain damage, losing body parts. Everytime a friend of mine wants to buy one I pursuade them not to. Too many risks involved, not worth it.

Dont hate motorcycles Fenix, they are grat fun. I have 20 years on bikes, never had a crash, never come off, never got a speeding ticket, never done a stoppy or wheelie and still loving it. Its all down to the rider. Ride like a fool, die like a fool, its the riders choice.

Well its not always the rider. I have 2 friends that almost lost their lives when other cars failed to see them.

I know, I have lost a very dear friend to a car driver who was doing a u turn, instant death and have many friends who have snapped legs and other bits. very painfull by all accounts. Like I said, ride like a fool, die like a fool. A good rider will usually ride to the prevailing road conditions and traffic intensity, if they dont they must understand that they will die, simple.
Dont get me wrong, sometimes motorcycle death is caused by the other road users but about 90% of the time its rider error, riding too fast and unable to brake in time, simple. Another good one is not wearing sufficient safety clothing.

I agree taking precautions is the key for prevention.
I don't have anything against people that ride motorcylces Its just something I dont ever want to do and if I can protect my friends I will.
The risk involved is very high which I'm sure you know. I m just a little pussy thats all. Road Rash 3 for the Sega Genesis is good enough for me.

lol more people die in cages, " cars " crash then bikes. but a lot of us over in this part of the world that hang out together have professional motorcycle training..we have been to ART school "Advance rider training "and the like, a few of my buddies are motorcycle instructors, and the other race track days.
bikes are in some forms safer, you wreck a car doing 150MPH you will die, and with a full leather rumble suit on a bike you can live. just watch a GP race. there doing 180MPH+. it is Education that will save your life.

just got the quad fixed another 1800 dollars later ( other half decided to try and fix it himself first ) i figure it added a 1000 to the bill we as well as the mechanic from his company rufuse to allow him access to any of our tool boxes without knowing first what he wants to fix and debating how much damage he can cause other half is not mr fix it.
