Im new at this so i hope this doesnt sound too silly.
I have a Sea star in my tank and I have out its little periods of inactivity down to sleep.
When i got up this morning I noticed it had been in the same spot for 20 hours and by the position of its arms it looked like it had slid down the glass.
I thought it was dead.
I moved to another spot on the glass and it simply fell to the bottom of the tank.
No sign of life.
I put some water from the tank into a bucket and put it in. Hopeful.
About five minutes later its in the bucket with one arm up out of the water.
Looked like it was waving "Im OK".
Can someone shed some light on what was happening.
