What is some of ya'lls experience? I am thinking 4 in a 30g. I am gonna try to breed them a little.

They are so ugly, they're cute. :) Sounds like a lot of work to keeping them happy though. I'ld like to hear some experiences with them. I don't like to believe everything I read. I'm stubborn like that. Sometimes, that's not a good thing.

There's a book, Kuhli, that I didn't put on my list that'll help you with the BHC's. Its called The Cichlid Fishes of Western Africa by Anton Lamboj. Fairly expensive, but has most of the riverine, creek and lake species that are in the Western part of the country, not the rift lakes. Kribs, Jewels, Nannacaras, BHCs, the whole bit.
