Black Molly shaped weird

So I have a black molly in my tank at school and he's been in there several months. Now recently his body from the top looks like an S.

He's still eating and the other molly is fine.

Sounds like he has Fish Scoliosis known as "broken back disease" or a little bit of inbreeding has started to show..

yeah I would tend to think scoliosis also....

I've gotta agree with the other 2. A couple of my guppy fry had that.

can they live with that or is it kinder to um.... put it out of its misery? im not being harsh just curious

Some fish can quite happily live with Scoliosis if the curve is not extreme and harming their internal organs... however being a livebearer and the way they breed you are better to remove the fish to lessen the chance of babies being born with it.
