Neon Tetra Massacre

We added about 9 small Neon Tetras to our 10G Fresh tank. One fairly large glass fish sees them and goes nuts. He tries to swallow all of them. All we can see is the Neon Tetra's tail sticking out of the glass fish's mouth and after he figures out he can't swallow the tetra, Mr. Glass fish spits the tetra out and it floats to the top. 1 survived being swallowed and lived for a few months. The other eluded the glass fish and grew to be a rather huge tetra. We put him back in the original tank and now the glass fish leaves him alone.

Most bigger fish will always try to eat smaller fish... especially if they have a chance fitting in their mouth thumbs2:

hmm thats wierd. I have kept glass cats and glass tetra in with neons alot......

hmm they were probably babies when he got them.
