To the breeder that can help....
I recently had my discus lay eggs and I've been thinking about setting up a tank to get some babies goin'...
What I want to know is... Are there any common pitfalls in doing this?
I am nervous that switching them to a tank with a HOB filter will hurt them. I know to use the water from my original tank and do daily water changes with it.
I've heard to wrap the tank with a black background sheet so that nothing will spook them, but then you go to a shop and you see them in breeding tanks with nothing around it. Should I still wrap the tank?
Any advice is greatly welcomed and appreciated!
