I have florescent, pretty bright lighting that seems to be making my plants grow in my 10g. Would florescent lighting grow plant bulbs? The ones I want are labeled as "Beta bulbs".

I will have to find the box and see what kind of lighting I have.
I just bought some bulbs today along with another live plant, and now all I have to do is wait and see what happens.

Agreed with Ed, but I do know those betta bulbs are hardy plants I have been told and do well in small tanks. Let us know when you find the box!!

Yup! One of my bulbs is already doing well, and it hasn't even been 30 days yet! Another is thinking about sprouting. Though my plants are thriving, I think I should get a twin-bulb florescent light eventually. Will UV lighting support aquariums?
