Try searching at make homemade cichlids food. that food would be suitable for piranhas also. possible with the exception that you should use alittle less green for your pirhanas.

I have never kept pihranas in my home aquarium, but I cared for more than fifty in a zoological setting. In our primary display tank, which was 800 gallons, we had 24 very large red bellies, as well as numerous pineapple swordtails, and a few large plecos. Our feeding schedule for this tank was very simple: one chicken leg and thigh, suspended mid-tank by a wire coathanger, fed on wednesday and saturday. The tank had ample vegetation, and sunlight via a skylight. I'm sure the pihranas occasionally snacked on the swordtails, but due to their breeding, the population was kept in balance. This is a great simple way to feed your fish. Just make sure the chicken is thawed, and cut off excess fat (leaving too much on will make the water surface greasy). Leaving the skin on is just fine.
