I was watching them at the store today, in that crowded tank, and thought how nice they get along when there are many. So I got two more.

I think when I get my bigger tank up I'm taking the firemouths outta the 37 and putting them in the 55 gallon with a green terror or some jack dempsey's.

A guy gave me my first firemouth.....a full grown female. Then I felt sorry for her so bought her a "friend". Then I ended up getting 4 more. But let me tell you, the smallest one I have is the meanest little SOB in the tank hence the reason for his name. He is about 2 1/2 inches and acts like a junk yard dog. He doesn't bump and push, he bites! My big female is just the sweetest thing and I wish a bit of her sweetness would rub off on him. Any of the larger ones could turn around and give him an attitude adjustment but they are all sissys.
