Here are a few pics of some new acquisitions.

Some red/rust colored zoas:

A green ricordia. It's about the size of a quarter, but I got it for only $10. Rics can be REALLY expensive.

Great shots, Coach. What's the Ricordea on? Good color, especially with your lights, and I'm really pleased that more colorful zoos are available these days, as they used to be all shades of brown. Both Corallimorphs look in excellent health, you have a good supplier.

Its kind of weird, but it is on a small plug, that is glued to a small piece of LR. I don't know why he did it that way, but I guess it works?

Coach,
He did it to keep the Ric from getting in the sand, which it has a great deal of trouble getting rid of. Ricordea only grows on solid surfaces, so you'll eventually have to put it on a live rock so it can grow and procreate. You can epoxy the live rock/plug into a crack or similar in the rock, or you can pop the plug off the bit of LR and do the same. Put it on the lower third of your tank, because in really bright light it'll loose those neat colors and be in shades of brown.

Thanks guys!!!

Here is the full shot Karbomb. I think most of the people on this forum are sick of looking at my tank :c5: I am going to follow Dave's advice and move the ric. up a little some time this week. I showed the probable new location with the arrow.

Wow! Have you had any los fish/corals yet?

I lost a few fish/inverts when my tank was just starting (about 2-3 months in). I don't really know why I lost these guys, because I have had other occupants along for the whole journey. I don't have the resources to perform fish autopsies!

The fallen: a yellow clown goby, a redheaded goby, cleaner shrimp, turbo snail.

A blue ric that large would run you about $50+
