alright, just now 3 of my corys the panda and 2 of the peppered cories all popped up to the surface and back down one right after the other as if to say "sychronized popping" hehe i thought that was cute. oh, btw, did i mention i got more cory cats?? i now have 5 total as that is all i have room for . 1 panda, 1 albino and 3 new peppered corys. i will post some piccys of them as well as my betta crew.

Post some pics! You did a good thing getting more of them to school, but they need to be all the same species. I would return the others and get 5 panda cories TOTAL. My cories "pop" too, but not all at the same time!

cories can school with other species, but they prefer their own.

eek, uh 'fraid not about getting rid of the corys , the albino one i have had since last year same with the panda and they are my "babies" it doesnt take much for me to become smitten with a pet, only one look and i;m a goner!! hehe anyway, all 5 of them do seem to enjoy each other's company so i don;t think there are any probs with them being depressed or lonely. but like i said , i have this "rule" once i get a pet i stick with it till it goes to pet heaven, so it would be like arm wrenching to say the least to get rid of ANY of them as i already have pics of them in my album!!

Congrats on the new corys. I've got an idea...get a bigger tank so you can have 6 (or how ever many you need for a school) of each kind. Just kidding, I'm always looking for reasons to get bigger tanks and more fish. Can't wait to see pics. Bet they are really cute.
