Greetings! New 80 Bow installed--PERFECTO! Does anyone know what Bamboo shrimp eggs look like? Found a sack on a plant I just bought and before I could Place it from one tank to the new one the bamboo hitched on. so I left him on and moved the whole plant. this am he was or she was gone and I noticed the sack. Did she leave it or did it come from the store (reputable aquarium shop ) Its small bout 1/8 x1/8 Clear with about 10 tiny white "eggs " inside. Is this a snail snack? How should I protect it? Iwas thinking, fish net without the handle over the whole plant. Comments?

Bamboo Shrimp eggs need brackish or full salt water to hatch into larvae... a foto would indeed help but it sounds like just your everyday pond snail eggs - if you feel the sack and it is jelly like then it is most likely snails

Are you sure they aren't snail eggs?
All the shrimp I know of hold the eggs under their tail.

Great! thank you for info. Umm, Cant take pic to small no focus. I agree shrimp would carry eggs. Not sure if snails were in tank that I picked plant out of. I'll just watch them hatch or more likely be eaten. Thanks again-

If there were plants in there, there were snails (99% of the time).
