Frozen Shrimp

For a while now I've been putting in 2 or 3 pieces of frozen shrimp from the supermarket every night whne I turn off the lights for my bichir..Could he die of he eats too much of this stuff? I also feed him sinking pellets during the day.

The reason for the shrimps at night thing is to make sure he doesnt get hungry and decide to go for the rainbow.

Why not give him more pellets?

How full is he in the morning? Unless he is really bulging it shouldn't be an issue.

I figured he would rather eat fish than a pellet, plus im scared my convict or pleco will eat them.

No, the rainbow fish. But he probably enjoys eating shrimp over pellets too.
