I saw this guy at my LFS, and I had to pick him up. I think it is going to be a challenge to get him eating, but I am going to give it a shot. So far he has been sifting the sand bed, and hasn't made a move at my prepared foods. Has anyone had one of these guys before??? You can see from the pic. that he didn't eat very well at the store.

At least he has made himself at home in my 12g. He has burrowed out a little home in a crevice between some live rock.

You need dried marine algae leaves to get him feeding. Just clip the leaves in the bottom third of the tank, and leave it there for at least 24 hours.
New marine fish often refuse prepared foods at first. Give him time, and he'll take prepared. At least 1/2 of his diet should be algae-based.
Those little gobies are very common in reef tanks. Great for beginners.

My 10g has one fish in it (purple dottyback).

My 12g has a pair of O. clowns and the goby.

Lol nevermind. You should get something else to go with the Purple dottyback if he isn't aggressive. Another dotty back may work.
