Nice looking fish Adam. I also want the gold severum. The ebjd has nice colors, as everyone has already mentioned. The big question now is:
How are they getting along?

They get along very well actually. even though the ebjd is only an inch long the severum doesnt bother him(I dont actually know the sex) at all. My ebjd is doing very good he is getting more and more active and he is still eating everyday. He is a little clumsy and he cant get falling food he has to wait untill they drop to the bottom. It makes me laugh when he trys. He now will swim up with my giant danios and swim in the middle of them for awhile.

His color looks better then what it does in those pictures. I just suck at taking pictures.

If you look at his caudel and pelvic fins on the third picture in, that is actually what his whole body looks like. I keep trying to take pictures but they arnt turning out.

Excellent fish. I am curious, you said the EBJD waits at the bottom for the food to drop. How do you keep the Danios from eating it all before it drops? I'm guessing you are feeding the very small cichlid pellets or something else.

I just got 3 EBJD's. Found a local breeder and picked them up for 1/3 of the LFS. They are about 1.5 - 2". I don't want to over feed them. But I also want to make sure they eat. What's your trick?
