there was a meteorite here in CHCH NZ today at about 2.53. I heard it the noise was incredible!!! It made the ground and windows shake

yep go 2 nzherald.co.nz and they have some good reports. It wasn't that big- it disintegrated so only pebble sized bits have been found.
