in my shop we have a huge tautog...but he looks sad and doesn't move much anymore...

My teacher says the water quality and the salinity is fine but i'm worried about him....

He's older than 4 because he was here when i was in 6th grade (i'm now a senior) so i'm worried.

He doesn't behave like he would with a parasite i just want him to be happy any tips?

The Tautog is also known as a Blackfish. They are mostly sought after by Fisherman for their delicious white meat and the fight they give. They live in waters ranging from less than 10 feet to well over 100 feet. Temperature range is usually 60-50 degrees. A cold water fish thats main diet relies on crabs, mollusks, lobsters, and all other shellfish. They will also eat different types of worms. If the fish is in the tank itself try pairing it up with another. Try some crabs and such if he never gets to eat them. I know the crabs will get him excited.
