Hi. i am shirishneetadixit frm mumbai india. I am very glad to have become a member of the aquatic community. I have set up a fresh water planted tank about a month back. The tank is well set up with the plants growing properly & fishes healthy. I change 20% water every 15 days. I am facing only one problem, viz formation of small black snails. Anti snail formulations are also not helping. Please guide me. Thak you

Welcome to AC, shirishneetadixit! Nice to have another international member. I keep many fish from your lovely country.
Depending on the size of your tank, a trio or sextet of Botia would solve your snail problem, and prosper at the job. I would bet money those are Physa species pond snails. It'll take the loaches some time to pare the snail herd down to a manageable level, but they will do it.

Welcome to A.C hopefully all works out well for you with your snail problem...

Bit of advice though, maybe not such a good idea to post your email address on a forum... can be dangerous sometimes :-)
