Hello all new to AC. Just wanted to join a community that was as interested in fish as I was. Heres my tank. I'm moving them into a 120 probably in April so I have given them some room with no plants (they rip them up anyway). I want them to feel open because thats how they will be in the 120.

Very open for now but provides enough cover and hiding. They are very docile together actually. They sit in the pot together, swim together. It's amazing. I have had Oscar tanks for almost 10 years and haven't seen any two this friendly in a 55 considering it will be small soon.
Hi Hi and welcome to the A.C!

Welcome!
That's a nice piece of driftwood!
Shouldn't the granite base be buried in the substrate?

I leave it on top of the substrate because the algaes lay there. I buried it and they flipped out on me.

I don't stop down here in this forum too often ( but I should). I wanted to extend a warm welcome and a big thanks for jumping right in and helping another new member with a tank emergency in the wee hours.
Good job JB
