Right now I have a 55g. with 1 Emperor 400 and 1 Penguin 350 running. Thats enough for 150 gallons. There are 2 fancy goldfish and 1 weather loach. The weather loach seems lonely. I have been thinking about getting another weather loch so mine has a friend. In your opinion do you think this would be pushing the stocking to far?

Weather loaches dont to to well in warmer waters.
But yeah, you could put maybe another one ot two loaches in there,

The fancies are about 3in. Had them for a year and a half. I don't think they will go over 6in. I have had the weather loach for about 6 months and is about 6in. Don't really know because he has himself intertwined in a plant at the moment so its hard to tell how long he is.

youre fine with the stock, you could have just 4 goldfish in the tank, and it would be stocked, but since you have 2 goldfish you can add 2-3 more loaches

thumbs2: Great. Looks like Slim is getting a friend.
So after getting the second loach do you think there is room left for a Bristlenose Pleco or some other small pleco.? I always wanted to have a pleco but I want whats best for the fish.

Nope, plecos don't like cold water.
You'd be fine adding another loach. You could even add a third goldfish if you want.

Aw man. Slim is going to have to wait a bit longer for a friend. I have caught some virus. :(

Hope you feel better! If you wanted something else you could try to maybe find a catfish. I know some prefer colder water. Just becareful if you go that route, as some can get quite large. I'm pretty sure some stay smaller though. Just a thought!

Does that virus happen to be muti-tank syndrome? lol. Feel better. 3 weather loaches and 2 fancy golfish sounds fine to me.
