I read to put a piece of cucumber or wilted lettuce in a jar and put it in the bottom of your tank to trap snails and how dozens will be in the jar in the morning and can easily be removed.

Well, I trapped 5 the night before and 4 last night. I had more on the outside of the jar than inside it. LOL This could take years. :1luvu:

...zucchini works better...and you have to pull it out while it's still dark outside...

But as long as you're pulling them out...it don't matter much how you do it...:1:

My snails seem to like algae discs the best. I drop one in the tank and a couple hours later you cant see the disc no more cause it has like 50 snails on it!

Get out! OK......going to try the pellets. Thanks for the tip.
I never thought about removing it while still dark. Will try that too.

Thanks to both for good tips.

Not a problem. I like this idea and I am deffinately going to try it in my 10 gallon. I have probably 3-400 snails! LOL Ok that is an exageration but you get the point.
