so i went to my LFS to exchange my 8" common pleco in for a clown pleco and picked up 4 more. SO in total i got 5 clown plecos. I got a huge deal on them. For 5 i only paid $19.19. Which is good i think.

i floated them and added a little bit of my tank water for about 30-40 minutes. They are now swimming around the bottom of the tank. They are really fast too. They just zoom from one side to the other.

they are about 1" right now.

yes i plan on breeding them. I have to wait about a year for them to grow up though. But after that they should and hopefully breed. I just hope that i got males and females.

What ALL kinds of food will they accept??

EDIT - i know that they will eat veggies and sinking algae wafers....but what elsE??? will they eat any form of meaty food??? like blood worms??

Im not entirely sure about meaty foods but I would say they would eat some of it. They definately need wood to eat though..and veggies. I dont know if you have ever tried it but my bristle nose loves broccoli stems(frozen ones sink when thawed)

my LFS will take them and i have lots of friends with big tanks that will take them. But they wont breed until they are about 1 year old. So i have to wait and hopefully they will breed.

yeah they all have markings like that.....really nice fish.
