View Full Version : sulking Oscar?

Hi, I recently put a red oscar in with my apricot oscar. The apricot oscar had the tank (large tank) to himself (or herself!) with no other fish in there. The 2 oscars are doing fine, that is they are not fighting but the apricot oscar has gone in the corner and is very still in a VERTICAL POSITION. What does this mean? He seems to be hiding or sulking. I don't want to lose him. He is still feeding ok. They are approx the same size. I suspect one is a male and the other a female as they are not the same shape. Should I take the new Oscar out?

Sounds like the otehr fish might be dominant and force the other fish to hide to avoid fighting.
