Central american fish

This isn't really cichlids, but oh well. I am going to get a 90 gallon CA biotope, but all I can find for fish that are truly from CA are cichlids. All the list "say" that the fish are from CA, but they are really from SA, like plecos for example. What other fish are there that can go with:
JD's, firemouths, convicts and severums?. The full list of cichlids are: 1 JD, 3 firemouths, 3 convicts, and 1 severum.

Well I dont think that the severum really matches the other fish that you are putting in that tank. A severum will probibly get bullied.

Have you thought about some loaches?

How about 4 clown loaches? And without the severum, could I get any other cichlid? Well, I know I can, but what types?

EDIT: I just found out that clown loaches are from SE asia, so I am not getting those.

Cichlasoma intermedium- Intermedium cichlid
Cichlasoma maculicauda- Black belt cichlid
Cichlasoma managneunse- jaguar cichlid
Cichlasoma meeki- Firemouth cichlid
Cichlasoma nicaraguensis- Nicaragua cichlid
Cichlasoma salvini- Tricolor cichlid
Cichlasoma spilurum- Blue eyed (jade eyed) cichlid
Cichlasoma synspilum- Firehead cichlid
Heroilapia multispinosa- Rainbow cichlid
Hypostomus plecostomus-Pleco
Pterygoplichthys multiradiatus- Salifin pleco
Rhamdia quelen- Rhamdia catfish

All those fish will work in a CA biotype. Nt all together though.

A severum wouldn't get bullies in there. A severum is a South American Cichlid though.

And since it is SA, i would assume it likes soft water? Yes, I know fish can adapt, but it comes from softwater regions, right?

Well, I picked a list of fish I like. Of couse I can't have all, and many are not compatable, but how many of each is good? I know that I am getting 3 female convicts and 3 female firemouths, maybe 2 of each if I can have more of the other species.
