Hi'
thanks for repling,

I also am going to have a go at breeding catfish
because at the moment nobody is breeding them here in Toowoomba.
But apprently there is something in the water here and you dont
get many female babies. Somebody at the my LFS it tying to work out why , he even has a friend from the coast who has the opposite problem.

I've dicided not to breed the Sciaenochromis ahli but to have a Malawi cichlid display tank.

Could you recommend any other cichlids to go with them in the 50 gall. tank.

I would recommend a aulunocara or copadicromis species. there are many beatiful options available to you.

However you to best to avoid mbunas since they are a bit to aggressive.
