I want to put a bunch of cleaner shrimp into my 72 gallon FOWLR.
How many could I fit in there?

if its just regular cleaners then you shouldnt need more than 2 or 3 (i think)

it doesn't matter how many cleaner shrimp you have in a 72g. You can easily have 50+, but I would personally go for 5 or 6.

So then I guess I'll get 5 cause I like how they look. And I will make sure not to get coral bands.
Thanks

I had a question regarding them.
The one i have doesn't move really. It stays behind a rock in the corner of my tank during the day then at night it remains in that corner but goes on the powerhead.
Is this normal for them? I have not seen it anywhere else except for this location.
On the other hand my peppermint shrimp goes everywhere and jumps around all night.

Are you talking cleaner shrimp for your fish or algea, left over food etc?
If it is for the later peppermint shrimp are better for this purpose.

its normal, my coral banded only comes out at night and he spends the day in the same piece of live rock. when i had my arrow crab in my old 10g he only stayed on the powerhead, but when i moved him to the 55g he walked around

I m trying to catch my cleaner shrimp then move him to the other side of the tank. Hopefully then he will realize its not so bad other there.

How long have you had him?
I am sure he will explore the whole tank eventually. Mine goes EVERYWHERE...he won't sit still.
