My golden gourami is always hungry in my 10g tank and will not stop begging for food. I feed my fish twice a day, and am worried about over feeding because I've heard that can lead to fish having fatty livers or being over weight. when and how much food should I feed my golden gourami?

Fish are opportunistic feeders. In the wild, they don't know when their next meal will be, so they eat as much as they can when the opportunity presents itself. Don't feed more than normal. It will survive on what you are giving it.

Gold Gourami will always want you to feed them, but twice a day is fine it is natural for fish to always eat in the wild and they are always looking for food.
So dont worry its natural for him or her to want more but oly feed as you are and it will be fine.

I agree. Angel fish are the same. Always begging.
