guppy rearing???

Ok. I bought a male and female from the lfs the other day and the female is growing daily. What should I expect? I'm guessing that I have to make it so they can't get sucked up into the filter. Do corys eat guppy fry? they would be the only threat aside from the guppies themselves. What am I in for?:14:

So by the female growing daily, i'm gonna assume shes pregnant, you could also check for a dark 'gravid' spot by her stomach.
You expect many fry lol, the fry are born pretty big and strong so should be able to keep from the filter. The cories wouldn't eat the fry the guppies might though, so keep them well fed.
To keep the fry safe maybe purchase a breeding trap from your fish store.
