Have you tried getting it to eat by triggering its instinct to hunt. Either by using live food or by moving its food in front of it.

Ok. Than. I would wait a few days (if nothing else have changed) as fish somedays go a few days without eating as a reult of a food change.

Does the fish look healthy.

thats not good. You are sure there is nothing wrong with the water values.

You coud try to increase the temperature a little which might trigger them to eat. I don't really know how to force feed them.

I also recommend that you try and ask your question at a specialised discus forum Ie only about discus, since the problem still remains. they might be able to figure out what is wrong while we can't.

Honestly, water values/parameters are undoubtedly the MOST important factor in determining illness, treating it, and keeping a healthy prosperous tank

What I have found is keep trying be persistent try the discus dinner frozen food, Tetra Colour Bits I even found mine were only eating sinking algae wafers at one stage keep up the water changes at least 3x times per week and check youre nitrate level this sometimes puts them off.

Cheers

have you tried ox heart minced up raw and feed to them ? if this fails try jmc high protein food. discus tend to sulk . if you ring the aquarist you got them from and ask what they fed them on .

Hi Sam....

I' just read your post.........

If all of your parameters are good.......... I'd transfer the discus to a qt tank, gradually raise the temp up to 90 - 92F dose with metrodiazinole 400-500mg per 10gals for 5 days..... it can be dosed at every eight hours doing a 50% wc every 24 hours.........

make sure to remove any carbon in the filters before adding meds...... and also add a some extra aeration.

as far as food goes....... I've never had a Discus turn their noses up to CBW...

Good Luck

Beth

I read that discus did not like salt so we never add salt to the tank with discus. Our discus will anything we put in front of them but sometimes they will wait until it falls on the gravel. They do seem to act like they are "catching" their food.

I hope that you discus are doing better. If my discus should act sick I would be more stressed than them.
