I am involved in a reproductive rersearch project at the University of Florida, and one of the species we are looking at is the Green Spotted Puffer, Tetraodon nigroviridis. We have them in seawater (33ppt), and have mature eggs and flowing sperm. Several web pages list spawning success in aquaria, or references to them spawning in brackish water with the male guarding the eggs. If anyone has any additional information, please let me know.

The problem is with breeding them is getting the male to tolerate the female. Most of the eggs are layed on a rock or the substrate, and the male sguard them in in a pit once they hatch. I've heard of people feeding them plankton and mosquito larvae.
