Hey all,

So I just bought one of those glass CO2 diffusers for my DIY CO2. I plugged it into the airline tubing, but no bubbles. The soda bottle is very tense and even when I squeeze the bottle, no bubbles come out.

Do I have to let the system accumulate higher pressures? I'm worried that the soda bottle will burst and I will have yeast everywhere.

the bottle would swell to at least double its normal size before bursting. Did you use a check valve? I had a bad one that blocked the line

There is a check valve, but I'm positive it is not clogged and is installed in the correct direction. I had the airline just in an airstone before without any problems getting any CO2 out.

i stopped buying stuff from that ebay seller. First they ship everything from Malaysia which takes forever. Plus the plants i ordered came dead.

I can't be certain but if it was my guess they sent you some cheapo broken diffuser.

If you detach the diffuser can you blow air through it to make sure it even works?
