I have just posted a message in the plant forum but guess that i am probably best off in the beginners area!

I have just bought a baby biorb and three plants and have no idea where to start - advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am going to leave the biorb running for a few days before introducing the first couple of minnows but the problem that i have is putting the plants into the aquarium!

Do i leave them in the pots in the aquarium that they were bought in? If i need to take them out of the pots - how do I anchor them down to stop them floating around?

If anyone out there can offer any advice it would greatly be appreciated - im a complete novice at this caper!

:D

Take them out and plant them in gravel like fake plants.

Thanks for your replies - One of the plants is a Amazon Sword and im not too sure about the other two. They are both fern-like in their appearance and one of them has a plum colouring.

Ok. Than I agree. Remove the pot. Cut half of the roots from the plants (I reduce their lenght) and plant them in the gravel.
