I kept looking up information on google about different cichlids and it kept coming back to this wed address so I decided to join because it looks like most of the answers are right here for me. I have long been an aquarium fan and have owned many over the years.
I am currently have two 30 gallon tanks and each of my sons have a 10 gallon in their rooms. I am getting ready to setup one 55 gallon and one 150gallon in my basement once I am finished with the sheetrock.
I am a big fan of Jack Dempsy's, green terrors, laperinus', texas cichlids and basically the more aggressive fish. Oscars were always fun too and they always seemed to really respond.
Well after 10years of no fish tanks I have gone back to setting them all back up and am very excited. the wife likes the community fish so right now we have pretty much all danios(they're fun cuz they are busy all the time) and gourami's. We have a few angel fish and in my little sons tank we have a whole buttload of neon's.
Well that's pretty much it for my introduction I am looking forward to seeing the pictures and such of other peoples tanks because when I setup the big tanks I really want to decorate them well and have not just nice fish but nice aesthetics also. Any pointers would be appreciated since I am interested in having some live plants and such.
Also if anyone can tell me how I can drill a hold in the bottom of my tank so I can make a nice biological system it would appreciated.
