I would use them as I have a lot of algae, but they steal nutrients from algae as well as plants, and I have algae in my planted tank.

Thanks. Yep that's a mossball. Our 18 yr old daughter thinks the river is "jakey" whatever that means lol but out 7 yr old grandaughter likes it. That's a piece of petrified wood with the black stones around it. It kinda looks like a pond, though it don't show up well in the pic. It has blue in it. A river and a pond in an aquarium lol it is pretty strange.

according to [link removed] jakey means...
jake/jakey Noun. 1. A drunk, a meths drinker. Derog. [Scottish/Glasgow use?]
2. A down and out, a homeless person. Derog. [Scottish/Glasgow use?]

EDIT: sorry took the link out lol had too many "inappropiate" words so i don't wanna link to it from here :P... but it was just some "slang dictionary"

Then get some Bristlenose, then no alge at all!!

Also nice pics of Tank!!:19:
