AC mascot

Everytime I go on AC the first thing that I see is that spotted blue fish in the top left corner of the screen. It's on every page on the site. Not that I have a problem with that or anything I'm just really curious as to what type of fish that actually is? What is the common name or family it belongs to? I'm sure I could figure it out if I saw the whole body but with just the head visible it's difficult.
Always wanted to know and I'm not really sure where to post this. Hope it's good here.

I wish I knew, I don't know very many fish, but it looks a bit like an oscar to me :11:

I no expert but when I joined my first thought was "That looks like a grouper". And I looked in my encyclopedia of fishing and it sure looks like coral grouper. So my vote is for a coral grouper

Hey I wasn't that far off then! It does sort of look like a tire track eel but to me I think it look even more like a grouper. Maybe I should turn this into a poll.
I hope William knows what it is so we can settle the debate before it gets out of hand lol.

Its a Jew Fish, or Goliath Grouper. The reason they are called Jew Fish is because of the story of Jonah and the Whale. Jonah lived in the whale, and Jonah was a Jew. This grouper gets so huge that its thought that Jonah could live in it. Hence, Jew Fish.
