Newbie idea...

Hey guys,
First post here so Hi to all!!

i've just got my first tank (a smallish hexagon tank) and i've made some DIY bubble wall (thanks for that topic! :c3: ) and i'd like to add a light to the top of my tank. After seeing another post about DIY reflector i was wondering if i coated the inside of the hood in silver baking foil (its just white plastic at mo) would it make a great difference to the light reflection or am I simply wasting my time?

I've used it, and it worked pretty good, but it isn't smooth, so light reflection isn't perfect.

foil does work, and it makes the tank look brighter, but it wont help your plants or corals at all. however for looks it makes it brighter

i currently have foil on a small lamp on my 55lt breeder, it works well
