Earlier today I noticed my Convicts laid their first batch of eggs. They should hatch in a few days. I was wondering what to feed them so I can get it before they hatch. I know baby brine shrimp is best, but I can't seem to breed my brine shrimp and my local shop only sells adults.

I woke up this morning to see no eggs. What happened?

The eggs might have been eaten. young parents can do this. don't worry. you will soon have a new batch.

Ok. They are building a new nest now anyways.

since they are building a new nest they probably ate them, but the nest will also disappear when the fry hatch. i have had great success feeding my convict fry hikari fancy guppy. it is a powder like pellet. once they are a little bigger i switch them over to crushed tetra min pro crisps.

The new nests can however be to put the larvea in if they hatched rather than were eaten.

I don't know I can't see anything exept the adults in the tank. ( The female that layed them is my avator.)

Ok. But don't worry. I can almost garantee that you will end up with convict fry.
