Tiny worms and C02 questions (with bad pics)

I've noticed tiny little white worms on my drift wood. Wanted to catch it fast so i'll ask to see if anyone knows what they are and how bad and what to do with them.

I also installed a DIY C02 system about a week ago and see that i have a lot of tiny bubble at the top of my tank just sitting there. I would think it would be good so the C02 gets more time to get into the water. BUT is it actually the C02 or is this something else that i should scoop out?

tiny worms. No more then 1/2 a cm in lenght. I have some snails so i'll guess thats what they are for now...

First, looks like planaria, harmless, result of over feeding.

Bubbles, CO2 is absorbed very quickly, most likely not CO2 bubbles. Looks as though you have a heavy film on the surface which will prevent gas exchange leading to low O2

I don't have any fish so i don't feed anything...:confused:

I'll finish my C02 system this weekend and be sure to add the recommended gas separator part...

You can also get planiaria from decaying plant matter.

that makes a lot more sense. Had some moneywort get some fungus and die off pretty fast.

I just did a water change the other day so hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Any other ideas on what the bubbles/ oily clear film is? I finished my DIY CO2 system this weekend and it still does it....
