In my convict fry tank i have about 20 baby convicts with one small black ghost and pee sized gravel with a couple of pebbles about 4cm long by 2 cm wide and when they get algea covered i put them in my 52 gal and let my eat the algea off the is this safe cause he loves it and hasnt had anything wrong yet

It is safe as long both tanks are healthy otherwise you could transfer disease from on tank to the other.

Than there shouldn't be any problems associated to it at this time.

you can grow algea even faster by putting rocks into a plastic bottle filled with aquarium water then leaving it outside in the sun for a day or two
