i just bought one i am excited about it, but need stats on it

i queried the LFS about it before i bought it
i trust them i have been with them for a very long time and know them on a personal level

i was told it is a non agressive fish that can live happily in my 4ft with whats listed below,

but would like to know more please

theyre peaceful and get big, but are slow growers, mine hasnt really grown much since i got it

How many gallons is your 4 foot tank?



I've had mine a few months, and he has tripled in size. He is now, right about 6-7 inches. When I got him he was just two.

it is 250 litres

yep, you have a 55g. i bought mine severly abused (tiny tank, major HITH), so i think his growth is stunted, his HITH healed quick though. hes probably only 4" but hes still a awesome fish, a 55g is the minimum for them
