fish out of water-and enjoying itself

today i ran out of water conditioner when i was filling my tank up after a good cleaning and water change, right now its about 3/4 full and one of the peices of driftwood is sticking out of the water. i let my tank be and when i came back from my dads with replacment r/o water I found to my amazement that my bichir had decided to sun himself like a lizard on the driftwood! i'm leaving my tank 3/4 full from now on.... its just to cool

i had a similar event happen, i have a filter the shoots water onto the side part of the glass above water level and my bristlenose climbed the "waterfall" till it got to the dry part and he gets ontop of the undergravel filter heads
