I have 4 amazon swords in my gourami tank that aren't looking too good, but were doning fine before. I also have 2 water trumpets and an elodea bunch doing very well. I bought all of them in April.

In the gourami tank I have a flourescent light on 10 - 12 hrs a day, pH of 7.4, and a temperature of 76°F.

Fish Include:

2 Gold Gouramis
2 Dwarf Gouramis
2 Powder Blue Dwarf Gouramis
1 Paradise Fish
1 Pleco ( 4 -5 in. long)

What can I do to revive my Amazon Sword plants without harming the plants thriving or my fish?

do you add any fertilizers for aquarium plants? is it a plant bulb? pleco may be eating on them.

I don't add anything. It is a plant bublb. Usually the pleco is on the walls or rocks or gravel.

even if you dont see him do it, plecos usually eat plants. you also probably need to be adding some plant food. i just use tetra brand liquid plant food/fertilizer and so far its working great.

I'll try that. Any idea how much it costs?

i think the one at the LFS i work at was $4something. not too bad at all. maybe call ahead and see if theyll take the pleco off your hands.
